So a co-worker of mine was bragging about how easy it was to get a concealed gun carrying permit the other day.  Now this is someone who I would say could “loose it” at any time.  And I got to thinking about what makes someone desire to carry a hidden gun…er a gun at all.  Now, there are a number of excuses…. I mean reasons - that one might give for carrying a concealed weapon.  They usually appear to be quite harmless.  “I just want to carry it in my backpack while hiking,” one might say.  Keeps them safe from the animals I’m sure.  Can’t be bothered with a holster out in the open, don’t want to tip off the animals I guess.

So now I have to guess whether or not my co-worker is packing heat.  This must be what it’s like to work at the post office.
